本病是脊柱的一种畸形。患有脊柱后凸时，椎骨形态由圆柱形变成楔形。脊柱开始向前弯曲，最终，使后背呈现圆形的外观。
Causes（病因）
Severaldifferentcausedcanresultinkyphosis.Itmaybecausedbyosteoporosis.Thisisalossofbonedensity.Itmakesyourbonesweakandbrittle.Itcanallowyourvertebraetofractureand 各种不同的原因可导致脊柱后凸。常见的病因有骨质疏松症，这是骨密度下降，导致骨强度下降并容易碎裂，使椎体容易骨折和压缩。另外一些可引起脊柱后凸的疾病包括椎间盘退变、肿瘤、累及脊柱的先天畸形、疾病和一些综合征。
Symptoms（症状）
Ifyourkyphosisismild,youmaynotnoticeanysymptoms.Asitprogresses,yourspinemaycurveforward.Youmayexperiencestiffness.Youmayhaveachesinyourneckandback.Severekyphosismayputpressureonyourspinalnerves.Anditmaycauseyourorganstobe 如果脊柱后凸轻微，可能不会引起任何症状。当脊柱后凸进展时，脊柱会向前弯曲，引起僵硬、颈背部的疼痛。严重的后凸畸形会对脊神经产生压迫，并可压迫内脏，就会引起广泛的症状。
